Tubify

Tubify is an app to stream music directly from YouTube, but without having to keep the video open in the foreground. This means you can basically transform YouTube into your new online music library.

Using Tubify is very simple. You can write the name of the artist, album, or song you're looking for in the search box, and in just a second you can see all the results, and start listening to them by tapping the screen. Instead of playing the video, you'll see a still image while the audio plays.

You can add songs to your favorites with just a touch, and also create your own playlists. That said, it's important to mention that Tubify can't actually download the songs, just stream them online, so you should always be connected to a WiFi network or at least have a good data plan.

Tubify is an excellent alternative to other music streaming services. Its huge music library (the entire contents of YouTube) makes it a really interesting option for any music fan.
